Noemi Innovate Flat Shields are designed specifically for Step 1 of the Korean Lash Lift technique. Unlike traditional lash lift shields that create the final curl, these flat silicone shields are used only during the softening stage of the service.
During Step 1, the lashes are placed onto the flat shield while the lifting solution softens and relaxes the hair. Once the lashes have softened properly, they are carefully transferred to the appropriate lifting shield to create the final curl and lift.
Processing the lashes on a flat shield first gives me more control over the service. Instead of trying to soften and shape the lashes at the same time, I can focus on softening them first. Once they are ready, transferring them to the final shield is easier and the finished lift is cleaner and more consistent.
